85, of Louisville, passed away on September 2, 2011 at her residence with her family by her side. She was the former owner of Crescent Hill Liquor and Caboose Liquor Stores. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, William and Virginia Williams, husbands, Edward A. Gafford and Ralph W. Morton and a brother Billy Joe Williams. She is survived by her loving family, a son, Edward R Gafford (Carol); daughters, Sandra L. Gafford, Rebecca J. Moore (Edward) and Susie Bright (David); stepsons, Ralph and Bruce Morton; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Her Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 2, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Gilberts Funeral Home, Marion KY. with burial to follow at Mapleview Cemetery. Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Road has been entrusted with local arrangements.
