Virginia Easley Yunt, 89, of Louisville passed away March 5, 2012 at Glen Ridge Health Campus. She was born on August 31, 1922 to the late Clyde Easley and Mary Ruth Snyder Easley. She was a retired Real Estate Agent, a member of the Shepherdsville Christian Church and the VFW Women’s Auxiliary-Middletown Post.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, George H. Yunt; a sister, Mary Joe Smither; and two brothers, Vernon Easley and Charles Cochran.
She is survived by her loving children, Lois Ann Davis, Rebecca S. Greenlee and George (Kelly) Yunt; a sister, Louise Poulter; a brother, Phillip Cochran; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren
A celebration of her life will be conducted Thursday, March 8, 2012 at Noon at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with burial in Middletown Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 on Wednesday at the funeral home.
