She was a member of Okolona Baptist Church, a Sunday School Teacher for 63 years, Deacon Emeritus, Church Choir Member, formally President of the Okolona PTA, Sunday School Director, WMU President, Vacation Bible School Teacher and Director, Church Trustee, and President of Cedar Heights Homemakers.
She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph L. Lindsey; parents John and Joyce Nichols; sister Frances Clark.
Survivors include her daughters Lee Paris (John), Kerry Knowlton (Wade); grandchildren Kevin Paris (Juanita), Keith Paris (Brandi), Kirt Paris (Andria), Joe Wade Knowlton (Stacey), and Lindsey Knowlton; 7 great-grandchildren; 4 step great-grandchildren; 2 step great-great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Saturday at the Okolona Baptist Church, 9301 Preston Hwy. Burial Rock Creek Church Cemetery, Clarkson, KY. Visitation Friday 4-8 PM at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Okolona and Saturday after 9:00 AM until service time at the church.
