W. Orville "O.T." Tipton

He was a retired member of the US Air Force after 20 Years of service to his country. He also retired from Firestone Tire and Rubber CO. O.T also worked many years for Ken Towery Auto Care. He was a long time member of Clifton Baptist church and was a Kentucky Colonel.

O.T. is preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Mattie Marlow Tipton, and step mother, Mamie Terrell Tipton, a sister, Margaret Harris, brothers, Calvin, Samuel, Billy and Arthur Tipton and a great granddaughter, Ava.

He is survived by his wife Lois Jean Denham Tipton, daughters, Barbara Koplin and Lorrie Klicker (Dan), sons Mike Tipton (Rose) and Denny Tipton (Denise). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and sisters, Helen Newton, Rosemary Hockensmith, Ethel Ball (Bobby), Brenda Ballinger, Linda McCurdy, and a brother Donny Tipton (Kay).

A funeral service will be held at 12:30 pm on Tuesday December 7, 2021 at Arch L. Heady - Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Ave, Louisville KY 40206 with a visitation from 10am until service time on Tuesday.

An interment will be at 3:00 pm on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Highland Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Clifton Baptist Church Building Fund,1947 Frankfort Ave, Louisville, KY 40206.
