Mr. Prewitt was a former employee of Publishers Printing and a member of AA.
Survivors include his loving wife, Angela Prewitt; children, Kenton Sears and Joshua and Felicia Prewitt; grandchildren, Kenton Jr. and Isabella; and six siblings.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday from 2-8 p.m.
The family would like to request that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the family.
