He was a retired carpenter and Army Ranger Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann.
He is survived by his children, Patricia Compton (Butch), Wade Jr. (Deborah), Harry (Theresa), Rebecca Moody, Raymond (Kim) and Robert (Ronda); 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be noon Friday at Heady Okolona, 8519 Preston Hwy., with burial in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
