Walter F. Johnston Jr., 68, of Louisville, passed away November 22, 2019.

Walter was a former member of the Boy Scouts of America Troop #22 C.P. He was also a member of the Easter Seal Booster Club and St. Matthews United Methodist Church.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Walter F. Johnston Sr., and Dorothy Briggs Johnston.

Left to cherish his memory is his sister, Nancy Jane Johnston; cousin, Charles Scobee Jr.; caregivers, Rebecca Nordhoff, Montanya Barr, Amber Gentry and Frieda Ward.

An Open House Reception to celebrate the life of Walter will be held Friday, November 29, 2019 at St. Matthews United Methodist Church, 319 Browns Lane, from 1:00 pm to4:00 pm.

The family would like to request memorials donations in Walter's name be directed to the church.
