

Wanda was born to the late James and Margaret Moffett of Louisville, Kentucky in 1944.
She is preceded in death by her son, James Caudill and her sister, Janet Gabel.
Left to cherish Wanda’s memory is her loving husband of 61 years, Gomer Caudill, her daughter Rebecca Carrico (Donald), and daughter-in-law Melissa Caudill-Gibbs grandchildren; Tyler Beeber, Hailey Shields (Robert), Hannah Vanosdol (Zack), and Cody Caudill, and her great- grandchildren Serenity Baker and Penny Shields, along with many other family members and friends.
Wanda was a loving wife, kind and patient mother, and Nanny. She was a devoted Christian woman who loved the Lord with all of her heart. She was a Sunday school teacher and loved to spend time nurturing tomorrow’s youth. Wanda loved to knit and often made beautiful hats and blankets for the NICU babies at Baptist Health Louisville, and many other creative items that she happily gave as gifts to see the smile on someone else’s face. She was the owner of Wanda’s Clay Castle in the 80’s where she loved making ceramic artwork pieces.
Wanda will be truly missed by so many. The world doesn’t often see a loving and generous person like her.
A memorial service will be held for Wanda on Saturday June 15, 2024 at Arch L Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218. Visitation will be from 9am to 11am, followed by a funeral service at 11:15am. Wanda will be laid to rest privately within Resthaven Memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218.
