Wanda M. Horn

She was born May 7, 1925 in Louisville, the daughter of Henry A. Lucas and Mittie Wilkerson. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Edgar, Earl, Shirley and Randall Lucas and her husband of 70 years, Edward L. Horn.

She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ.

She leaves to cherish her memory four sons, Kenneth Edward (Joann), Mack Louis, James Lee (Sue) and Michael Donald Horn; two daughters, Patricia Louise Zimmerman (Bruce) and Rebecca Woosley (who was her loving caregiver); 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild; her sister, Dorothy Ashcraft (Harold); many nieces, nephews, and her beloved 4-legged children, Billy Boy and Scamp.

A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Zion United Church of Christ, 1301 E. Burnett Ave. with burial to follow at Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 PM on Friday at Arch L. Heady Russman and Sons Funeral Home, 1201 E. Oak St.
