Wanda Mae Reynolds, 85, was born on March 8, 1932 to the late William and Bertha (Sullivan) Johnson, and passed from this life on September 1, 2017. She was retired as a teacher’s assistant, a member of the Rat Racers, South Central LIFT, and a longtime member of St. James Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carlos Reynolds; a daughter, Kathy Lynn Turner; a brother, Elmo Johnson; sisters, Elizabeth Lush and Frances Gnau. Left to cherish her memory is her sons, Roy (Robin), Daniel (Laura), and Mark Reynolds (Lisa); son in-law, Kevin Turner; sisters, Henrietta Bradley and Patricia Rouse; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A service to celebrate Wanda’s life will be held at 11 am on Wednesday at St. James Church, 3535 Taylor Blvd. with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm on Tuesday and after 10 am on Wednesday at the church. Memorial gifts may be made to Kosair Charities or to the Team Carlos Reynolds for the Alzheimer’s Walk at Waterfront Park on Saturday September 9, 2017.
