Wanda Lee Wilkerson, 79 died Monday, June 28, 2021. She was born November 2, 1941 the daughter of Minor Thomas and Gladys Carter Probus. She worked for Sears doing clerical work and The Peoples Bank of Taylorsville. She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church for over 44 years and was a member of the Kentucky Baptist Disaster Relief Team.
She is preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Eden Louise Wilkerson
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, David Wilkerson, one daughter, Denise Chapman (Andy), one son, Stephen Wilkerson (Jennifer), one brother, Cecil Probus (Loretta), 6 grandchildren: Weslee and Geoffrey Chapman, Paige, Devon, Willow, and Violet Wilkerson, 1 great grandchild, Giana Henao, many Probus and Wilkerson nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be Tuesday, July 6th at 10am at Bethlehem Baptist Church (5708 Preston Highway, Louisville, Kentucky 40219)
Visitation will be Monday, July 5th from 3 PM until 7 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home (4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218)
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorial donations be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church or Kentucky Baptist Disaster Relief.
