

Warren Jameson Moore, 86, went to be with his heavenly father, Monday January 23. 2012. Warren was a graduate of Mannual High School. He was attending Purdue University when called to duty to serve in WWII. He landed on D-Day. After being wounded in WWII he was a recipient of many metals including a purple heart. He enjoyed living life to the fullest and traveling all around the world, stopping to help people in any way he could.
Warren retired from the Naval Ordnance after 26 years of Federal service; he owned Oakmore Enterprises after retiring and taught Sunday school for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents Dr. Edgar J. and Lillian Moore. He leaves to cherish his memory best friend and companion of 19 years Glenda Burrows; close friends Lisa Lewis and Stephanie Midyette. Warren was loved by anyone who got to know him. He will be dearly missed and always loved.
A service to celebrate the life of Warren will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 26, 2012 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village. Burial with Military Honors will follow at Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
