Wayne Lee Diersen

Wayne Lee Diersen, 59, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025. Wayne was born in Louisville, KY to the late David F. Diersen, Sr. and Jeanne Diersen on May 3, 1965. He retired from the Ford Motor Company and was a member of the Sons AMVETS POST 61. Wayne loved fishing, hunting, and a little gambling. He was a HUGE Kentucky Wildcat fan! He would do anything for anyone in need and loved his family and nieces and nephews most of all.

Left to cherish Wayne's memory are his three brothers, David F. Diersen, Jr. of Louisville, KY, Richard A. Diersen (Kim) of Rough River, KY, Ronald L. Diersen (Tina) of Walton, KY; two sisters, Laura J. Meffert (Charlie) of Shepherdsville, KY, Patricia A. Sneed (Mark) of Louisville, KY; nine nieces; five nephews; several great nieces and nephews; extended family, and dear friends.

Visitation for Wayne will be Wednesday, February 19, 2025 from 2pm until 8pm at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home - Okolona Chapel, 8519 Preston Highway 40219. The Sons of AMVETS POST 61 will have a memorial service honoring Wayne at 5pm in the visitation room. Visitation will also be Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 9:00 AM until the hour of his Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at the funeral home. A burial will immediately follow in St Michael Cemetery, 1300 Ellison Ave 40204.
