Wendy Rae Hampton

Wendy Rae (Travis) Hampton, age 48, of Louisville passed away on December 3, 2023. Wendy was born in Louisville on February 28, 1975 to Debra Foreman and Jerry Travis. She is preceded in death by her grandmothers, Ethel Foreman and Jean Travis; grandfathers, Garland Foreman and Herbert Travis; aunt, Pat Schuler; uncle, Danny Schuler; cousins, Devin Eggers and Brandon Royse; mother in law, Yvonne Hampton; and grandmother, Mary Jane Hampton.

Wendy is survived by her husband, Damon Hampton; daughters, Kaleigh and Jasmine Hampton; mother, Debra Foreman; father, Jerry Travis (Minnie); sisters, Holly Travis, Stevie Hayes and Jaylynn Travis; father in law, Phillip Washington; sister in law, Nakita Hampton; nieces, Reagan Hayes, Dee Keith, Breanna and Nakia Key; nephews, Dallas Eason and Malakye Travis; and a host of extended family and friends.

Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Arch L Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home 4400 Bardstown Road Louisville, Kentucky 40218. Visitation will be held on from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
