William Tyrone Bagwell, age 85, passed away on October 10, 2026. He was born on March 22, 1941, to Dalton and Sophie Bagwell in Lebanon, Kentucky. William proudly served his country for close to 10 years in the US Navy. He enjoyed spending time woodworking, building things like picnic tables and benches and even sold them on the side. He had a great sense of humor, he was always playing tricks on his children and joking around. Above all, he was an absolutely wonderful husband, father and grandfather and he will be deeply missed.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Victor Bagwell.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of almost 64 years, Connie Bagwell; his children, Bryan Bagwell, Michele Fawver (Curtis), and Jennifer Bagwell; his grandchildren, Jordan Stevenson, Mykenzie Moriss (Kyle), and Dustin Summers; his sister, Donna Adams; and his niece, Starlene Adams.
A graveside service for William will be held at Evergreen Cemetery where he will be laid to rest on Wednesday October 21, 2026, beginning at 1:00PM.
