William John Benningfield of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday July 9th, 2024. He was preceded in death by his brother Tim, his mother Lottie, and his father Calvin. He is survived by his children, Melanie Wilson (Dave), Aaron Benningfield, Allen Benningfield (Tracy); his grandchildren David, Devin and Noah Wilson, Jubal, Annie, and Shepherd Benningfield; brothers Butch and Monte Benningfield and Brian Morrell; as well as a vast number of close cousins and friends. He will be remembered as a consummate joke teller, music lover, and devoted pet owner.
Cremation was chosen. A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, July 21 from 2-5 pm at Arch L. Heady Funeral Home, 3601 Taylor Blvd. A eulogy service will be held at 3:00.
