William "Bill" Baker
July 19, 1950 – May 7, 2022

William “Bill” Baker, age 71 of Louisville, passed away on May 7, 2022.
Bill was born to the late Clayton and Nancy Baker. Here to carry on his memory is his adoring wife of 42 years, Cathy Baker; his children Andrew Baker (Ember) and Caitlin Baker; his bonus son B.K. Blair; his grandchildren Jezzah, Gunner, and Rossi Baker; and his brother Timothy Lee Baker.
Bill was a proud Police Officer, serving with the City of Louisville and Jefferson County for 24 years. He went on to serve 10 years at the Kentucky Office of the Attorney General, where he initiated the Cyber Crimes Unit. Bill was a past member of MENSA. He was a proud husband, father, and grandfather.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2022, from 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. An F.O.P. service will begin at 4:30 PM in Bill’s honor. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus of Louisville or Kentucky C.O.P.S.
