William “Bill” Malcom Erwin, 71, of Mt. Washington, passed away Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Norton Suburban Hospital. He was born on September 13, 1939 to the late Malcom Erwin and Lorraine Sherrard Burd. Bill was a graduate of Male High School, a Mason and was retired from both the Courier Journal and Safetran .
He is survived by his four children, Robin H. Erwin, Steven B. (Joni) Erwin, Rebel L. (Michael) McFetridge, and Brent W. Erwin; a sister, Shirley Ann (Robert) Franey; and five grandchildren.
A visitation celebrating his life will be conducted from 4-8 on Wednesday August 3, 2011 at Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Avenue.
