William B., 89, passed away November 10, 2012 at Cambridge Place Nursing and Rehab in Lexington.
He was born on August 1, 1923 in Winchester, KY to the late Simon and Sara Hampton. He retired from Oxmoor Farms as a Landscaper and was a member of Beechwood Baptist Church.
His wife, Christine precedes him in death.
Left to carry on his memory are children, Linda Block (Robert) of Lexington, Jerry Hampton of Winchester and Michael Hampton (Regina) of Taylorsville; along with four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A service to celebrate the life of William will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Interment is at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday and noon prior to the service Tuesday.
