William Wesley “Willie” Padgett, Age 83, was born on May 31, 1941 in Louisville to the late Marshall and Millie (Stevens) Padgett and passed away on September 7, 2024. He was a retired employee of the Naval Ordnance Station, a member of The Elks Club #8; and an Army veteran. He is survived by his wife, the former Patricia “Trish” Brown Padgett; sons, Troy Padgett, Nathan Padgett and Gary Newton; daughters, Crystal Wundrak and Sherry Roselle; brothers, Leroy, Nelson, Everett and Robert Padgett; sister, Marsha Padgett; 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; and a special 4 legged pal, “Sassy Lynn”. Visitation will take place on Wednesday 9/11/2024 from noon to 8 pm; and Funeral services will be held noon on Thursday 9/12/2024 at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. Interment with military honors will follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
