William was born on October 13, 1946 in Louisville.
He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Payne.
William is survived by his significant other, Brenda “Joanie” Miller; his son, Keith Payne; his daughter, Tessa Collins; Siblings, Vivian Harrison, Wanda Philpot, Donna Woosley, Kenny Payne, and Jack Payne; mother, Valeda Payne; 10 grandchildren; step-children, Vickie Poston and Greg Poston; and Joanie’s children, James, Jennifer, and David.
There will be a visitation from 3-8pm on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at O.D. White & Sons Funeral Home, with cremation to follow. There will be no funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the family to help with final expenses (envelopes are provided at the funeral home).
