He was a retired line worker for GE after 30 years. Mr Schweitzer was a former member of the National Guard and a native of Jasper, IN.
He was preceded in rest by his wife of 34 years, Callie “Diane” Schweitzer, and his son, Mark Schweitzer.
Mr. Schweitzer is survived by two daughters, DeeDee Hall (Eric) and Tammy Ball (Garry); two sons, Mike Schweitzer (Vicki) and Tim Schweitzer (Jeannette); a daughter-in-law, Tina Schweitzer; 12 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and a sister, Bernadine Thompson (Bill).
His funeral will be on Monday, October 20, 2014, at 2pm at Arch L. Heady Funeral Home and Cremation Services, with interment following in Pennsylvania Run Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2pm-8pm.
