Born on July 21st, 2000 Stephen was known for his sense of humor, big heart, and the love he shared with everyone lucky enough to know him.
Stephen is preceded in death by his mother Denise Spear, and grandmothers Norma Spear, and Doris Johnson.
Stephen is survived by his dad Doug Spear, sisters Meagan Spear (Craig), and Michelle Johnson-Holmes, his nephews Noah and Winston, many aunts, uncles, and cousins, his best friends Justin, Will, Draven, and Zack, and a wide circle of friends who loved him like family. His absence leaves an unfillable space in the hearts of all who knew him.
Stephen had a passion for video games and could often be found spending hours immersed in his favorite worlds, always ready to play or share a laugh with his friends. More than anything, Stephen cherished the time he spent with those closest to him. His friends were his second family — a bond he valued deeply and nurtured every day. Whether hanging out, sharing stories, or just being together, those moments meant everything to him.
He will be remembered for his kindness, his laid-back spirit, and the way he made people feel at ease just by being himself. Stephen was unapologetically authentic, someone who lived life on his own terms and found joy in simple pleasures.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1, 2025 from 12:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home - Okolona. Stephen will be laid to rest at a later date in Evergreen Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home – Okolona Chapel, “Where Personal And Sincere Service Is Tradition.”
