Retired Master Sergeant William Arnold Trusty, 82, of Louisville passed away July 12, 2014 at Baptist Health Louisville. He was born on November 29, 1931 in Berea, Kentucky to the late Arnold Douglas and Mabel Prater Trusty. He was a 20 year retired Master Sergeant in the Marines. Upon retirement from the Marines he became an IRS agent involved with computer programming. Bill was a member of St. Andrews UCC.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by two sisters.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Gherlene Brown Trusty; two children, Karen Leigh Trusty (Lori) and Doug Trusty (Lisa); and two grandchildren, Killian and Olivia.
A Celebration of his life will be conducted Thursday July 17, 2017 at 2 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road with private entombment in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Thursday from 12-2 at the funeral home.
