SGT. Willis Lee Sr., 81, of Mt. Washington, passed away September 14, 2012 at his home surrounded by family.
He was born in Breeden, WV to the late Albert and Peggie Taylor Maynard on December 01, 1930. He is a Retired Army Veteran, serving our country in the Korean Conflict.
Along with his wife of 51 years, Ursula; left to carry on his memory are sons, Willis L. Jr. (Tracy), Michael T., Brandon M., and Mark E.; daughters, Elizabeth (Joseph) and Jackie; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one brother; three sisters; and several nieces and nephews.
A service in honor of Sgt. Willis’ life will be noon Wednesday at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd. Burial to follow at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
