Wilma is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Thomas Lurie; and their children, Michael Lurie and Amanda Lurie.
Here to carry on her memory is her son, David Lurie (Arron); her grandchildren, Ella Lurie, Samantha Crowell, Trace Lurie (Anna), Madison Gaskins (Conner), Danielle Bagshaw (Jacob), and Patrick Willis (Kristi); her great-grandchildren, Riley Richardson, Elliot Lurie, and Frankie Jo Gaskins.
The best Mom and Granny, Wilma held her family very closely in her heart. She will be dearly missed.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of the wonderful staff at Glen Ridge Health Campus for going above and beyond, and for all of the amazing care they provided to Wilma during her time.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY, 40218. A funeral service in Wilma's honor will begin at 2:00 PM at the funeral home on Friday, May 22, 2026. Wilma will be laid to rest in Resthaven Memorial Park.
