Wilma Joan Pruitt McDonald, 84, of Louisville passed from this life on Monday June 6, 2016. A native of Hart Co., she was the former Joan Merideth, retired from the accounting dept. of the old Bell South, a member of Seaton Park Baptist Church, and the American Business Woman’s Association where she was a two time winner of the American Business Woman of the year. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Dale Pruitt and Harry McDonald. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Denise Milliner (Tom); sons, David and Donald Pruitt; a sister, Freda Koch; 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
A celebration of Joan’s life will be held at 10 am Friday in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with interment to follow in Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
