She was born December 17, 1920 in Louisville, the daughter of the late Sebastian and Alice Williams. She was also preceded in death by her husband, George Kelley Harris, Sr.; sons, George Kelly Harris, Jr. and Matthew Brent Harris; daughter, Joan Alice Harris and an infant daughter.
She leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Jane Melillo (Joe) and Julia McDonald; granddaughters, Vanessa Yenawine (Jeff William) and Alice Yenawine (Louis MacDonald).
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 12:00 PM on Friday, June 22, 2012 in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Rd. Interment will follow at Zachary Taylor National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 – 8 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
