

He was a retired Division Manager for the Royal Crown Bottling Company.
Memberships include, St. Bernadette Catholic Church, Middletown VFW Post, The Gruetli Helbetia Society since 1948, and a former membership in the Moose Lodge. Xavier was an Army Veteran serving in the Invasion on Normandy. He served in Germany, France, Scotland and England.
The Family would like to thank the staff of Baptist East Hospital for the excellent care provided Xavier.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Arthur, Henry and Irvin Kamer, Ann Fuchs.
Survivors include his wife, Lucille Kaelin Kamer; daughter, Brenda DuChane (Lou); sister, Freida Haunz; 2 Grandchildren, Theresa Devine (Clay) and David Key; 2 Great-Grandchildren, Shelby and Madilyn; along with a long list of family and friends.
His funeral mass will be held at 10:00 A.M Saturday, June 19, 2010 at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 1395 Girard Drive. Entombment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2-8pm Friday in the parlor of Arch L Heady & Son Funeral Home at Westport Road. In place of customary expressions of sympathy the family has requested memorial gifts to the St. Joseph's Childrens home.
