Born to the late Frankie McAtee and William Robinson, Yvonne is also preceded in passing by her adoring husband Medford Lee; grandparents Ben and Ailene McAtee; and her brother Ward McAtee. She is survived by her son David Lee; brothers Frederick McAtee, Dexter McAtee, and Phineas Robinson (Bianca); and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Yvonne was a family-oriented person who never met a stranger. She loved crocheting blankets and cooking for her loved ones, fishing and the Louisville Cardinals. She proudly co-owned and managed Cardinal Creek Farm with her beloved husband for 16 years. Yvonne will be deeply missed by everyone in her life.
A visitation will be held Friday, September 24, 2021 from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road. A funeral service in Yvonne’s honor will begin immediately at 2:00 pm at the funeral home. Yvonne will be laid to rest in Resthaven Memorial Park.
