Arlene Ridgway, 82, passed away peacefully on July 27th, surrounded by family near and far. She had a bad fall the week prior and encountered medical issues as a complication. Arlene was born May 30, 1940 in Chicago, IL, and is survived by her sister, Karen, and children Cheri, Ed, Janet and John, as well as grandchildren and great grandchildren. We will miss this nutty, funny, challenging, beautiful "Glamma". She loved her children very much, and the grandchildren could do no wrong. She enjoyed sending cookies to kids away at college, texting with the young folks, watching reality tv, and talking on the phone. She could tell a good story, complete with dry humor and punch lines, and loved to laugh at her own shenanigans. We are sure she is in heaven talking too much with the angels and asking where the nearest nail salon is. Here she is toasting with iced tea, but using a wine glass so she was cool. She will be truly missed but will be in our hearts forever.
