After earning her associate's degree she worked as a secretary doing administrative work.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Jeffery Michael Meyers, Robert Daniel Meyers, Laurie Ann Meyers and Susan Betsy (Meyers) Salter. Betsy was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Roy Meyers.
Burial will take place in Homer, New York at a later date.
