Born and raised in Loveland, Brad was a proud graduate of Thompson Valley High School. He embodied the spirit of hard work and tenacity, putting himself through college at the University of Northern Colorado (UNC) in Greeley. His drive and leadership eventually led him to become a successful business owner, where he was known as a fair leader and a steadfast role model to many.
To those who knew him best, Brad was a man of deep passions. Whether he was carving through fresh powder on his snowboard or camping under the Colorado stars, he was most at home in the mountains. His soul was fueled by music—specifically the honest storytelling of bluegrass, red dirt country, and the raw energy of rock & roll. A lifelong sports enthusiast, Brad shared his love for the game by coaching football, teaching the values of teamwork and resilience to the next generation.
Brad is survived by his children, Faith and Samuel; his nephew Beck, whom he loved as his own son; his mother, Katherina; and his brother, Christopher. He is also remembered by his cousins Zuri and Adam, his uncles Clifford and David, his aunt Linda, and his best friend, Leny. He was preceded in death by his father, Gary, his brother, Shawn, and his sister, Kimmie.
Brad leaves behind a legacy of strength, melody, and mountain air. He was a hero to his family and a leader to his community, teaching all who knew him that with enough heart and a good soundtrack, any mountain can be climbed.
