

Carolyn Kay Alexander, 77, of Loveland, Colorado passed away at home after some recent health issues. She was born May 25, 1949 in Des Moines, Iowa the first child of Frank Louis Gangalee and Frances Larue Aleshire who both preceded her in death. She graduated from Riverton High School in Wyoming in 1967, studied in the business curriculum, and was awarded Secretary of the Year in 1966. After high school, she attended Casper State College before going to work for the Thompson Valley School District in the insurance department.
Carolyn enjoyed staying fit and the outdoors, and enjoyed hiking with her husband Brian. For her sixtieth birthday, Carolyn and Brian hiked the entire Appalachian Trail through the State of Maryland. Carolyn and Brian also enjoyed traveling and visited Italy, France, Germany, Scotland, Great Britain, Ireland, Belgium, Amsterdam, and many tropical islands such as St. Lucia, Maui, Lanai, The Big Island, Kauai, Oahu, and others.
Carolyn is survived by her husband Brian, four sons Brian R. Alexander, Jeremy Alexander, David Connell and Steve (Dayna) Connell, two daughters Winter (Jason) Watson, Sierra (CJ) Crow, ten grandchildren (Trevor, Travis, Troy, Javani, Viana, Dempsey, Elijah, Taylor, Kelsie, and Scarlett) and two great-grandchildren Katherine and Campbell. Carolyn’s family was very important to her and she loved them dearly. Brian and all family members equally loved her in return.
