Charles Earl Boyes

Chuck was born July 9, 1934 to Charles and Louise (Stommel) Boyes in Grand Junction, Colorado. He graduated from Grand Junction High School. Chuck attended Colorado University – after which, he joined the Navy and served as a Navy Corpsman from 1956-1960.

On August 3, 1968, Chuck married DeAnn “Dee” Branting in Boulder, Colorado.

Following his service in the Navy, Chuck joined the Boulder Fire Department and retired as Chief in 1991. In retirement, he continued to serve the Mountain View Fire Department and the Loveland Fire Rescue Authority on a part-time basis.

Chuck and Dee enjoyed traveling for many years. He was also an avid RV-er.

Chuck is survived by his wife, DeAnn; nieces, Milrae (Owen) Kinnan & Muriel (Don) Bader; and other loving family.

A Memorial Service for Chuck will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Allnutt Funeral Service – Hunter Chapel, 2100 N. Lincoln Ave. Loveland, CO 80538.
