Charles Allan Davis Sr.

Mr. Charles Allan Davis Sr, “Chuck”, age 94, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 20th, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family. A native of Denver, he was born on April 18th, 1930, to the late Charles and Mildred Davis.

Chuck attended Moore Elementary and grew up playing the accordion. Many days and nights were spent performing for numerous organizations throughout the Denver area, including many Veteran groups during the war. His war time volunteer efforts were recognized by Look Magazine and his contributions reflect the foundation of his character. Chuck graduated from East High School in the class of 1948 and attended Denver University until he left to serve in the United States Navy. In 1956 while working in Pueblo, Colorado, Chuck met the love of his life, Mary Ann Kellogg. They were married January 21st, 1956, and recently celebrated 69 years of marriage.

In 1959, Chuck started Charles A Davis and Associates. He served the building community with architectural hardware for the remainder of his career. In 1976, he was proud to welcome his son, Chuck Jr. as partner in the business. They worked together until his retirement.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Mary Ann, son, Chuck Jr. and daughter, Nancy and Curt Richardson; grandchildren Josh and Candace Richardson and JC Richardson; great- grandchildren Gwyneth, Wyatt and baby girl (due in August).

A private burial has taken place. There will be a private family Celebration of Life gathering in the Spring.
