Charles “Rusty” Elliott was born in Roswell, New Mexico in 1951 and resided there for most of his youth. He married in 1971 and eventually settled in Temple, Texas where he lived for most of his adulthood. Rusty was a jack of all trades, including being a taxi driver, volunteer police officer and photographer for the local newspaper. His claim to fame was having one of his photographs published in Rolling Stone magazine. In his last few years, he resided in a care facility in Loveland, Colorado until his death on 10/16/25. Rusty was known for his witty sense of humor, charming personality, and happy-go-lucky attitude. He loved socializing, motorcycles, photography, and family.
Rusty is survived by one brother, John, daughter, Meghan, 2 grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 siblings, and ex-wife.
