I’m gonna miss you so much I will always regret we never got to go camping when you got so sick I so enjoyed our lunches at Texas Roadhouse my heart hurts so much ! I will miss our “company lunches “ even tho I had to put up with Maggie but I sacrificed for you! We became really close recently and you helped me with a lot but your out of pain and for that I’m happy go with god  and I know you will be with me forever in my heart 💔😢❤️😘

Love seeing the smile on Danny's face in the photo.  I can just hear that laugh that went with it.  He stopped by every year to visit his Aunt Dorothy and always helped us grieve our own losses.  I never knew a better man and know how loved he is by all his family. As some friends and I put it, "He has not departed.  He has arrived ." What a joyous reunion he is having on the other side. Love you. Will miss you here, Danny. Nick,  you did a beautiful job of keeping us informed through this and we thank you.  God Bless.

To Dan's Family - Dan was a dear friend.  We got to know Dan in Mission, TX.  Spent lots of time with him.  He and Jim were good buddies.  He even came to Iowa a couple of Summers and stayed here at the lake and did some volunteer work.  What a nice guy he was.  He will be sorely missed.

Chief Thomas,

You were one of many Battalion Chiefs I have had in my 32 year career here at Boulder Fire Rescue.  You shared your knowledge of the fire service with me to help me become who I am today and I truly appreciate it.
You were also a Marine just as I was and you treated me as a Marine even here on the job whether I was being commended or reprimanded.  It was good to know that we had that mutual respect and understanding for each other because of our military background.
You no longer have physical pain Sir, May you Rest In Peace my brother, we will take it from here.

To Danny's family, you are in our prayers.  We are glad he was in our lives and he will be missed more than you will know.  Dick & Danny spend 4 good days together when Dick helped him bring his camping trailer back to Colorado this last spring. Two truckers reliving many memories  along the way.  Also, Danny  helped Margaret with many thing as we were closing down Dick's company. I don't know how I would have gotten it done without Danny's help.  Too many other memories that can't be put into words. We had a great friend for 18 years.  Danny will not be forgotten.  He is with God now.

I am so sorry to hear of cousin Danny's passing. I have such fond memories of all the holidays we celebrated together Much love to all of you
