David Leon Garnica

He was the loving father of David F. (Tina) Garnica. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews: Laura Garnica, Felix (Reta) Martinez, Geraldine "Gerry" Martinez, Marcella Fuentes, Danny Garnica, Angie Hilburn, Vangie Roberts, and many friends from his Loveland High School Class of 1956 (including the late Frank Ward); his friend, Howard Barnes; and his caregiver Diane (Mitch) Bathauer.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Severiano and Antonia Garnica; his wife, Abigail "Abbie" Garnica; his siblings, Angel Garnica, Helen Hilburn, Christina Martinez; his niece Claudia Yanez.

David worked as a consulting engineer in the electric power industry in a number of overseas countries, including Asia and Africa.

Dave enjoyed computers, friendships, traveling, spending time with families and friends, and good food.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Perkins Restaurant in Loveland on Saturday, November 20, 2021, from 12:00 to 2:00 PM, all friends are invited to attend.
