Deborah “Debbie” Sue Ridley, 67 of Loveland Colorado went to join her loved ones that were waiting for her in heaven on February 9th 2025. Debbie was born on October 3rd 1957 in Las Cruces New Mexico to Robert and Barbara Bennett.
Her family later moved to Grand Junction where she often reminisced about spending all her free time in the local swimming pool with her girlfriends. Debbie was also an avid skier and was a great accordion player. She graduated from Grand Junction High School but left with more than just a diploma, she left with her high school sweetheart Richard Ridley.
Richard and Debbie married on June 16th 1979. During their early married years Debbie worked as a bookkeeper at St. Mary’s Hospital where she made many friends and memories. In 1991 Debbie found out she was pregnant and shortly after receiving this news Richard’s job caused them to relocate to Loveland.
On June 2nd 1992 they welcomed their son Tyler into this world. Debbie embraced motherhood in a way that not many do, and her and Tyler had an undeniable bond. Tyler and Debbie shared many interests such as video games, the love for Lil Wayne’s songs, collecting football cards, and so much more. Then Tyler decided to promote Debbie from mom to “Nana” in 2020. If you think Debbie embraced motherhood, you should have seen her shine as a Nana to her Peanut & Pookie. She was a loving, fun, and ever-present nana to the boys. Following Debbie's passing her eldest grandson described her “as the best person he has ever known and his favorite person on the whole planet.”
Debbie is survived and cherished by her loving husband Richard Ridley, her loving son and daughter in law Tyler & Jessica Ridley, and her two adoring grandsons Walden and Archer Ridley.
A funeral service for Deborah will be held Saturday, February 15, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Allnutt Funeral Service, 2100 North Lincoln Avenue, Loveland, Colorado.
