Delbert “Del” LeBlanc, Sr. let go of his earthly responsibilities on January 21, exactly one hour after saying goodbye to the love of his life of 46 years, Robin. He was 77 years old.
Del was born in Jacksonville, Florida to Walford and Mildred LeBlanc. He grew up in Gainesville Florida, and resided in Orlando Florida before making Fort Collins his family’s home in 1978.
Del and Robin had many wonderful and successful business ventures together. Most notably as the founders and owners of Delfannie’s Restaurant at the Foothill’s Fashion Mall for over 20 years. Del said that he coined the name because “Robin worked his fanny off!”
Del was a huge Bronco’s fan, holding season tickets for many years. He loved spending time with his family, cooking, visiting their condo in Breckenridge and traveling. He never met a stranger and made friends wherever he went.
Del is survived by his loving wife, Robin Spencer LeBlanc, Fort Collins. His son, Delbert LeBlanc Jr.,Florida. Granddaughters Maria LeBlanc Simser (Jeff) and Brittany LeBlanc, Fort Collins. Grandson Nicholas LeBlanc (Maela) and Great Granddaughter Roslyn, Oklahoma. His sister, Delores LeBlanc Johnson (Wayne), Florida. Many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law as well as a multitude of friends.
Del is proceeded in Death by his parents and his sons, Ronald and Charles LeBlanc.
There will be a private family Memorial Service at a later date.
