Elaine Ruth (Nelson) Zeller went to be with her Lord and family on October 4, 2025. She was born in Rochester, New York, on February 9, 1942, to Norman and Ruth (Miller) Nelson. She graduated from St. Agnes High School. She moved to Loveland in 1975. She worked for Xerox in Rochester and Thompson School District in Loveland for 20 years. She married Bruce Zeller on September 14, 1985.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, gardening, shopping and traveling. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. She loved watching them play sports. She is survived by her son Michael Halloran and wife Megan and their sons Benjamin and Nathan; daughter Colleen Krabbenhoft and husband Clark and their sons Adam and Alex (Tori); son Kevin Halloran and daughter Sage; and daughter Kathleen Halloran and her children Kylen and Colissa Bakovich. She is survived by her sister Marilyn LaCrosse and husband Dr. Michael LaCrosse of Norfolk, Nebraska; and sisters-in-law Karen Nelson of Spring, Texas and Phyllis Nelson of Loveland, Colorado; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Bruce, and brothers Gary Nelson and Richard Nelson. She is also survived by four stepchildren and their families.
Allnutt Funeral Services is in charge of arrangements. Cremation has taken place. Private services will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church at a later date for family and close friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church or a favorite charity of donor's choice.
