Emma Rose Crackel was born on November 29, 2005, at McKee Medical Center in Loveland, Colorado. She grew up in Severance, where she built lifelong friendships and became a cherished member of her community. At seven years old, one of the happiest moments of her childhood was becoming a big sister to Claire.
Emma embraced that role with excitement, love, and pride from the very beginning. She was fiercely protective of her little sister, always cheering her on, offering support, and sharing a bond that only sisters can.
Emma attended Range View Elementary School, Severance Middle School, and graduated from Severance High School with the Class of 2024. Throughout her school years, she was known for her dedication, compassion, and determination. She was a talented violinist and an active member of the National Honor Society, the Future Farmers of America (FFA), and the Severance High School girls wrestling team. Whether in the classroom, on the wrestling mat, or serving her community, Emma approached every challenge with heart and perseverance.
Driven by her passion for helping others, Emma earned her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification during her junior year of high school and completed EMT coursework during her senior year. She put her skills and caring nature into practice by working in home healthcare and serving residents at nursing homes in Loveland. Her kindness, patience, and gentle spirit touched the lives of many patients, families, and coworkers.
Emma was currently attending Aims Community College to further her career in the medical field.
Emma was truly one of a kind. If you knew Emma, you knew someone who loved with her whole heart. She was ambitious, hardworking, and incredibly selfless, always putting others before herself. She had a special way of making people feel seen, valued, and loved, whether through a thoughtful text, a warm hug, a kind word, or a simple gesture that let you know she cared. Her smile and laughter could brighten even the hardest days, and her quiet strength, compassion, and genuine kindness left an impression that will never fade. Emma lived her life serving others, always looking for ways to help, comfort, and lift up the people around her. While her time with us was far too short, the love she gave so freely, the countless lives she touched and her beautiful spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her family, friends, classmates, coworkers, patients, and everyone fortunate enough to have known her.
She will be deeply missed, forever loved and always remembered.
