Frances Corene McCormick

Frances "Corene" McCormick, 87 of Berthoud, CO passed away on November 21, 2023. Corene was born December 1, 1935 in Miller, MO to Willard and Pauline (Mers) Daughtrey. She married Bobby McCormick on December 29, 1956 in Springfield, MO. In 1998 Corene and her husband followed their kids from Springfield, MO to Loveland, CO where she lived until her husband passed away. Then she moved to Berthoud, CO to live with her youngest daughter and her family. She loved the mountains, hiking, gardening, jigsaw puzzles, going to A Day Place and spending time with family and friends. She loved spending time going on trips with her son to Rocky Mountain National Park and Steamboat Springs and going on girl trips with her 2 daughters and her granddaughter. Corene is preceded in death by her 2 parents, her husband Bob, and her 2 sisters Vonnie Daughtrey and Reva Breckenridge. Frances is survived by her sisters Geraldine (TL) Painter, Thelma (Johnny) Stone, and brother Larry (Sandy) Daughtrey. She is also survived by her loving children Carolyn (Glenn) Morali, Steve McCormick and Debbie (Jeff) Dietz as well as 2 loving grandchildren, Sarah (Matthew) Muckleroy and Garrett (Talia) Morali. Corene is a loving individual that will be missed by many. She will be buried next to her husband at the Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, CO.
