Guadalupe Garcia Conway

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Lupe Conway, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, and friend, who left us unexpectedly on February 8, 2024, at the age of 82 at her home in Loveland, Colorado. Her departure has left a void in our hearts as we remember an amazing woman whose love, warmth, and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her.

Lupe was born on January 11, 1942, in Tamazula Jalisco Mexico to Manuel Garcia Pastor and Maria Guadalupe Rodriguez Mendoza. She is survived by her husband of nearly 50 years, Jack Conway, her three children, Becky, Ricky, and Alex, her 8 grandchildren, her 16 great-grandchildren, and her 4 great-great-grandchildren (with one more on the way). Her greatest joy in life was her family and she cherished every moment with them.

Lupe's kindness extended beyond her immediate family, as she worked for many years as a caregiver to the disabled. Lupe loved to love on people as she was always opening her heart and home to countless friends and neighbors, inviting them over for a delicious meal, and if you were lucky a slice of cheesecake. Lupe's legacy of compassion and generosity will be remembered by all who were fortunate enough to have known her.

Lupe not only had a love of people but of most living things from her “babies” Jazmin and Chica to the many other cats, dogs, fish, and birds she brought home over the years. She spent her free time in her garden, using her unrivaled green thumb to tend to her plants and always making friends with the birds. When she wasn’t spending time outside, you could find her in a thrift store looking for her next big find, and of course, dragging Jack along with her (typically for MANY hours).

Lupe committed her life to the Lord at a very young age and her faith was a guiding force in her life, providing strength and comfort in times of joy and sorrow. While our hearts will always miss her, we are comforted in knowing that she is with Jesus.

Family and Friends are invited to attend a memorial service to celebrate Lupe's life that will be held on February 14, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Allnutt Funeral Home in Loveland, Colorado
