Howard graduated from Alamosa High School, attended Adams State College, and then served in the United States Army during the Cold War era. When he returned home he became a volunteer fireman and started a successful career as an Electrician, eventually owning his own electrical contracting business.
He loved being outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing, gardening and being with his mini donkey "Molly". His favorite thing was spending time with family and watching his grandkids in all of their endeavors, rarely missing any of their activities. He also enjoyed cooking for family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John D. Andre. Survivors include daughters, Stacie Malovich of Briggsdale, Co., Shawna (Mike) Culbertson of Greeley, Co., Tara Le Flore of Aurora, Co., and Taina (Kent) Busnardo, of Wiggins, Co.; 15 grandchildren,13 great grandchildren; a brother, Robert Andre of Longmont, Co. and sisters Bertie Lou Smith and Charlene Green both of Alamosa, Co.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at 4 pm. On February 26, 2022, at the Adventure Seventh-day Adventist Church, 4100.W 20th St., Greeley, Colorado.
