

Irene Kay Coplan, 74, of Madison, AL, formerly of Loveland, CO, passed away Monday, July 28, 2025 at her home. She was born March 22, 1951 in Sterling, Colorado to Manford and Maxine (Lair) Snyder. Irene grew up on a farm and was very proud of being a farm girl.
Irene was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Loveland for many years. She was a very accomplished organist and loved to sing and play songs from the hymnal. She loved to dance and sing karaoke, especially Elvis Presley and Patsy Cline. She had a passion for cooking, especially for large family gatherings. She also enjoyed eating at Red Lobster, her favorite dish being oysters. Irene was very fond of fishing in Estes Park and Gunnison. She was an avid fisherwoman, who could always out fish the boys. She also enjoyed reading and gardening; her favorite flower was the red rose, she did not like lilies though. She also loved the rain.
Irene was always there for anyone who needed anything. Her family was the most important thing in her life, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she adored. Her greatest accomplishment was the love and care she gave her grandchildren.
Irene is survived by her three children, Jennifer Vetter, Ladawn Havens and Shawn Havens; 15 grandchildren, Madison, Savannah, Nathan, Marrisa, Curtis, Trista, Brayden, Andrea, Shawn Jr., Abreanna, Vallery, Eddie (deceased), Samuel, Silas and Victoria and six great-grandchildren, Archer, Hunter, Mark, Zoey, Izabelle and Hazel. She is also survived by her mother, Maxine Snyder.
A Celebration of Irene's Life will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 22, 2025 at Allnutt Funeral Service-Hunter Chapel, 2100 North Lincoln Avenue, Loveland, CO 80538.
