Isaac Steven Taylor valiantly crossed over from his parents’ arms to the arms of his Savior on November 13, 2025. Isaac was a spiritual giant in a small body who inspired countless others to be brave in the face of adversity. In his 22 years, he rarely met a stranger and spent his days being a soft place for others to land when things felt too heavy. Isaac was an unapologetic sass monster that reveled in a good zing at someone, but also took it as well as he dished it out. He had an uncanny ability to perceive what other people needed, and comforted in a way that no one else could. His calming presence was a unique gift that he shared beautifully and selflessly.
Isaac was born on July 31, 2003, to Mat and Ambra Taylor in Albuquerque, NM. He appreciated the finer things in life…but not cats. Isaac was a connoisseur of beads, stuffed animals, Fig Newtons, film, and TV comedies. He was always up for a Psych marathon with his sister and cousin. His comedic timing was impeccable, and he continuously honed his craft, never ceasing to entertain those around him with his quick wit and snark. Isaac loved music and could often be heard belting out a good jam; and NO ONE could touch him on the dance floor! Isaac was scrappier than he appeared and, in his younger years, fought off his two older brothers and older cousin in tickle fights with vigor! What he lacked in arm strength, he made up for with deceivingly powerful legs, and could often end the 3-on-1 melee with a few well-placed ostrich kicks.
Isaac was a dedicated football and basketball player on his Unified sports teams, assisted by his siblings. He was also the undisputed Apples-to-Apples game champion. From Isaac we all learned, you play the player, not the game. In his middle school days, he helped run The Con Ball Café every year to the delight of those invited to partake in a fabulous, student-run restaurant experience. He graduated from Mountain View High School in 2021 and continued spreading joy throughout the northern Colorado communities in more recent years.
Isaac is survived by his parents, Mat and Ambra Taylor; his brothers, Kimball Taylor and his wife, Sydnie; Evan Taylor and his wife, Ruby; his sister, Josie Taylor; and his grandparents, Gary and Cindy Oliver and Steve and Ann Taylor. Isaac is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him fiercely.
