

Jackie Kenneth Bowman passed away on August 9th, 2023 from complications due to Parkinson’s Disease. Jack was born in Memphis, TN on April 23,1949 to Bonnie Ingle and Earl Bowman. In his 74 years he lived a varied and joyful life. Jack grew up all across the country. He joined the United States Marine Corps for a tour of duty during the Vietnam era as an aircraft firefighter. After discharge, he and his young family moved from California to Texas. There, he worked primarily in sales before becoming an insurance fraud investigator. He and Joan relocated to Colorado and he worked in his senior years for the Larimer Lift program providing transit to the elderly and disabled. Jack loved to spend time in his hobbies of hunting, fishing, and shooting. But he truly tried everything - diving, archery, cycling, and motorcycles. He also had a heart for service and was a Grand Mason in the Masonic Lodge and a volunteer medic and instructor for many years. He was loved by many and always a true friend. He leaves behind his wife, Joan Peters Bowman and his children, Heather (Larry) Pilkington and Chris (Erica) Bowman, and his grandchildren, Matthew, Brooks, Jillian, and Molly. He is survived by many friends and brothers and sisters.
