Jason Martin Hellman

Jason Martin Hellman, 61, of Fort Collins, Colorado, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2025 at Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, Colorado. Jason was born July 13, 1963 in Valparaiso, Indiana to Dale and Marianne Hellman.

Jason always dreamed of moving out west, so on May 22, 2022 he moved to Fort Collins. He worked for Transfort as a bus driver. Jason was a man of few words, he never complained and was dependable and loyal. He loved going on long drives, especially on Route 66, NASCAR and building model planes and cars. He also loved the Beatles. Jason was very proud of his three sons and they all had a strong bond.

Jason was loved and very well-liked by everyone he encountered. He will be sorely missed.

Jason is survived by his wife, Samona Hellman; three sons, Ryan (daughter-in-law, Jessica), Luke and Josh (daughter-in-law, Marlene) Hellman; mother, Marianne Hellman; sisters, Andrea (Jim) Weekly and Michelle (Ken) Jones; grandchildren, Macayla, Lydia, Jeremiah, Judah, Amara and a granddaughter on the way, Eliana; uncle, Dennis; sister-in-law, Aneasha Moore; brother-in-law, Jeremy Lacy; stepkids, Bre'Azia Jones, Brandon McLeod and Eriona Johnson and his honorary daughter, Savannah Moyer.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Hellman, brother, Adam Hellman and mother-in-law, Ramona Forshee.
